Hi, Colin! Thank you for coming. Could you tell us about yourself and give us your team’s introduction?

Sure, I’m Colin CEO of Animal Concerts. I’m Irish from Dublin but I live in Dubai. My background is in tech having worked for companies like Oracle, Dell, Salesforce and HubSpot and been in crypto since 2016. My team is made up of many executives from Finance, Media, Technology but also Music — we have several people on the team with decades of working in the music industry, booking big name talent and organizing large events. One of our key strengths is the ties to the music industry and how we will bring big artists to the metaverse.

Thank you. We received a lot of interesting questions from our subscribers. Let’s go straight to the topic. What is the main idea of Animal Concerts? What are the main objectives of this project?

Animal Concerts are building the Next Generation of Live Events in the Metaverse. We are revolutionizing the music industry for fans and artists worldwide: delivering unique, physical concerts with A-list artists, collaborating on NFT drops, live streaming in the Metaverse, while tokenizing the entire experience! Artists we have worked with: Alicia Keys, Busta Rhymes, Future, Diplo, Meek Mill, Avila Brothers, Billy RayCirus and Snoop Dogg — many more big names to be announced!
We are changing the game in the music industry by working with artists to launch their music but giving them full control. The new song Hard Working Man by the Avila Brothers featuring snoop and Billy Ray Cyrus — is actually owned by us and we are doing a record-breaking NFT drop with Crypto.com — with a metaverse concert later in the year.

What benefits and what risks do you see in using NFT technology?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
Artists embracing NFTs can find new audiences and markets without the need to go to traditional studios or companies for commissions or short-term or freelance contracts. They enable a new revenue stream but also a way to interact with their fans in new and interesting ways making them part of the process and feeling closer to their favourite musicians
NFTs mean artists can take control of their work and help create new revenue streams.

Sounds exciting. Which blockchains did you choose to launch Animal Concerts on and why?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
Ethereum, bridge to polygon and BSC.
Building on Polygon and Klaytn, they are the Korean blockchain backed by Cacao group who are the WeChat of Korea. They want to work with us to bring K-pop to the Metaverse.

What VR devices do you currently support or plan to support in the near future?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
VR is small part of the business — exciting yes but only 10m VR headsets in existence. We will do concerts for all on all platforms, VR is just a way to heighten the experience.

Can we start expecting to see Animal Concerts on big metaverses such as Decentraland or Sandbox?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
We already have a partnership with Decentraland and we are working with people and projects who have land in Sandbox. We have an amazing partnership with NetVRK who have incredible tech and a new one now with Pax World. We are metaverse agnostic and we want to be where all the new big metaverses will be.

Many projects launch campaigns to interact with users. Does Animal Concerts have any specific plans to attract and grow the community or improve user experience? What are the Animal Concerts plans to educate and raise awareness and adoption among the community to make more people understand about the project easily?

We have several marketing strategies like traditional pr and marketing as well as in the crypto arena, however within the contracts Artists will promote on their social channels which will bring a lot of attention to Animal via their tens of millions of followers

In modern virtual reality, there are great opportunities for promoting services, including renting space for advertising banners. Do you plan to implement something similar in your project?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
Yes, huge potential for gamifying and monetizing the brand experience. Advertisers get more in the metaverse because its not just a banner ad you can interact. For example, you could buy your friend a beer at the bar. Or play a game and collect points to get special access to the VIP area. Also, we can offer things for sale so you can buy something in the metaverse and get it delivered tomorrow!

Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven’t yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
Absolutely, and this is the big part. When we work with major artists like Alicia Keys and Snoop etc., we will bring millions of non-crypto people in and it’s very valuable.

Do Animal Concerts foresee the option of cooperating with major ticketing agencies like Ticketmaster or Eventim for online and offline events to cover more target audience?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
Potentially. However, we will work with NFT ticketing — id prefer to disrupt than work with Ticketmaster! NFTs change the game for tickets and scalping.

We received a question from one of our subscribers that I cannot ignore. Do you plan to launch karaoke?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
Not specifically as a core business model but we can certainly build it in as a game within a concert experience.

Another similar question. Do you plan to conduct virtual broadcasts of sports matches in the metaverse in addition to concerts?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
Yes absolutely. Sports, movies and comedy are all in the future. We want to be the entertainment Company of the Metaverse!

What are your top 3 priorities for the second half of 2022? Could you share some plans for the near future?
ANIMAL CONCERTS
1) Booking more artists and purchasing catalogues of music to gain control of the rights for web 3.0.
2) Building out technology so we can integrate into multiple metaverses and stream concerts, and have NFTs on our app.
3) Partnerships with new metaverses and other players in the industry
